Rhythm of regulation - ROR Therapy

Neurodivergent counselling and therapy in Tasmania

Therapy that honours the messy, brilliant, beautifully complex parts of being neurodivergent; blending science, embodiment, mindfulness and

sometimes a dash of nature to help you feel more regulated, connected and unapologetically you.

Welcome, I am glad you are here

Holistic, neurodiversity-affirming therapy in Hobart for ADHD, Autism, trauma, relationships & nervous-system wellbeing.

Hi, I’m Daisy, a neurodivergent-affirming mental health social worker offering ADHD therapy, Autism support, somatic therapy, couples counselling and nature-based walk-and-talk sessions right here in North Hobart, Tasmania.

If you’ve landed here feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, misunderstood, newly diagnosed, or simply exhausted from “trying to make it work” in a world that wasn’t built for your neurotype… exhale. You’re in the right place.

My practice, ROR Therapy, is designed especially for neurodivergent adults: ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD, late-diagnosed humans, sensitive nervous systems, deep feelers, and anyone who’s spent a lifetime masking, adapting, or feeling like “too much.”

This is a space where you don’t have to pretend. Where your sensory needs matter. Where your brain and body get to work together, not against each other. Where healing isn’t forced, rushed, or one-size-fits-all.

How I Work

Therapy that adapts to you - your pace, your neurotype, your nervous system.

When you work with me, everything is tailored to you. Your energy. Your sensory needs. Your lived experience. Your rhythms.
I blend evidence-based therapy (ACT, CBT, DBT-informed skills, EFT) with somatic and mindfulness-based practices, and, if you feel more grounded outdoors, we can take your session into nature for walk-and-talk therapy.
Maybe you feel calm and safe in a quiet therapy room. Maybe your brain regulates better when you’re moving or breathing fresh air. Maybe you want practical tools, or maybe you need slow, gentle, embodied work. There is no “right way” to heal here, only your way.

What We Can Explore Together

ADHD · Autism · Anxiety · Trauma · Burnout · Identity · Emotional Regulation · Relationships

You might be navigating:

  • a late ADHD or Autism diagnosis

  • autistic or ADHD burnout

  • masking, overwhelm, or emotional dysregulation

  • relationship tension or communication differences

  • low self-worth or years of “what’s wrong with me?”

  • sensory needs or nervous-system confusion

  • trauma or attachment wounds

  • unmasking, identity shifts, or finding your authentic self

Wherever you are, you don’t have to make sense of it alone. If you’re coming as a couple, I use the Developmental Model - a compassionate, non-blaming framework that helps you and your partner understand each other’s needs, stages of growth, and communication styles. It helps both people feel seen, safe, and understood, especially when neurodivergence plays a role.
